Quality Enhancement

At The Arc of Baltimore we define quality as supporting individuals in having a meaningful and productive lives. We accomplish this in many ways. Individuals are empowered to make choices and are included in every aspect of their lives. This philosophy comes from a concept called "Nothing About Me Without Me". The Arc of Baltimore believes that everyone, regardless of their abilities, should be able to make decisions about their lives. Each person supported has an individual plan.

The Arc has a Performance Measurement Plan that looks at how we are doing in providing services to people in many area, including: Outcomes, Incidents, Behavior Support Plans and Relationships.

We measure quality in many ways. The Performance Measurement Plan is reviewed on a quarterly basis. The results are tabulated and the final plan is reviewed by the Quality Enhancement Committee which consists of board members and employees of The Arc of Baltimore.
