These positions may require some evenings and weekends.

As the House Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the health & safety of supported individuals, coordinating services and community integration activities, managing the successful operations of the home(s), and supervising staff. This includes maintaining the living environment in accordance with DDA regulations and Health Department standards; actively participating in the development, implementation, and review of Individual Plans; and ensuring all supported individuals participate in their communities and have opportunities for community integration and relationship development with a focus on developing natural supports. Additional responsibilities include managing quality assurance programs, provide coverage when staff is unavailable to work, and maintaining budgets.

Qualified candidates must possess and Associate degree (or 60 credit hours) with direct experience in developmental disabilities or at minimum 3 years of experience in a residential home. Successful candidate will have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as a valid driver’s license and vehicle. Individual should possess excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Supervision and management experience is highly preferred.

DIRECTOR OF VOLUNTEER AND INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS APPLY NOW
Full-time, Administrative Offices

As the Director of Volunteer and Internship Programs, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a volunteer and internship program guidelines and procedures in compliance with applicable regulations and accreditation standards. This includes managing the volunteer and internship experience from start to finish at an exceptionally high level of quality: conduct needs assessments, create job descriptions, develop an orientation program, market programs, recruit candidates, maintain a candidate database, advise supervisors through performance evaluations, and plan recognition activities/events.

A Master's degree in a related area and experience in volunteer/internship management highly preferred. Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's degree in a related area and experience managing volunteer/internship programs. Requires excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and priorities. Position requires a personal vehicle for independent travel. Some evening/weekend hours required.

Immediate need for a General Vehicle Mechanic. The primary responsibility is to ensure that all fleet vehicles are maintained and/or repaired on-site are safe to operate. Duties include maintenance and repair for fleet trucks, vans, cars, and trailers through scheduled engine oil/transmission oil changes, diagnosis of needed repairs/service with scanner, braking system repairs, tires and shocks replacement, exhaust repair, major and minor engine/transmission repairs, air conditioning maintenance/repair, front and rear suspension repairs, interior maintenance/repairs, and complete service records.

Successful candidates will possess a High School diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years experience in automotive and light truck mechanical work. Candidate must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be able to drive large 6-wheel crew-cab landscape truck, vans, and mini busses. Infrequent, but sometimes will need to work evenings, weekends or holidays as necessitated by work schedule or trainings. Must be able to life 75 pounds, push, pull, and carry a variety of tools, equipment and supplies.  Requires good physical coordination and stamina.  At least 90% of the day is spent standing while working. Treatment team leader in family-centered, child-focused Treatment Foster Care program; primarily responsible for support and consultation with foster parents and other team members serving foster children. Provide therapeutic interventions with foster children and foster parents; advocate for, coordinate and link children and families with specialized services within The Arc of Baltimore and in the greater community.

Maryland Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) with an MSW from an accredited college or university. Must have strong foundation of clinical skills. Excellent oral communication and organizational skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

This position is office based, with some travel in the Baltimore area. Valid Maryland driver's license and personal vehicle required.
