Mayor Dixon Visits Arc-supported Workers
Mayor Sheila Dixon was attending a meeting being held at The
Arc’s center at Seton Business Park and took time to greet the hospitality crew that set-up for the meeting and with others anxious for a photo-op.
Legislator Honored
Senator Ed Kasemeyer (l) received a Legislative Leadership Award at The Arc of Maryland 2008 Awards Luncheon on Friday, April 25th. Senator Kasemeyer was instrumental in the State’s continued support of the Transitional Youth Initiative, protection of funding for Community Services as well as other issues on behalf of Marylanders with developmental disabilities. RCM&D Sailing Regatta Shares Proceeds with The Arc
RCM&D held their annual sailing regatta recently in Baltimore’s inner harbor. The benefit raised $50,000 for four organizations, including The Arc of Baltimore. Thanks to all the employees (and sailors) at RCM&D for supporting The Arc’s mission.
