Events
Events
at The Arc of Baltimore come large and small with something
for everyone – golfers, members of the community,
artists, parents of children with disabilities, campers,
etc. Some are for fun and some are for learning and gathering
resources for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Art
in the Round
The talent and artistry of individuals with developmental
disabilities is showcased every year at The Arc’s Art
in the Round Exhibit and Auction. A selection committee reviews
approximately 100 pieces submitted each year for a final group
of 60 pieces to exhibit at the American Visionary Arts Museum.
A veritable feast of hors d’oeuvres along with a wine tasting
are enjoyed during the exhibit and auction and lead up to
the final and furious bidding for the art. Artists look on
with pride as their work fetches profits for their pockets and
art aficionados grin over the unique piece acquired for a
modest sum.
6th Annual Art in the Round was held on
October 16, 2007
at the
American Visionary Art Museum with a record crowd in attendance. The Arc of Baltimore thanks the following partners for their generous support, donations and dedication: American Visionary Art Museum, Artists and their families, Art in the Round Committee Members, Beltway Fine Wine, Sylvester Bieler, Thomas Brightman, Brooke Ambrose Photography, Business Food Solutions, Calvert Wholesale Florist, Inc., Classic Food Service, Columbia Vending, First Industrial Reality Trust, Fleming Transportation, Four Star Leasing/Alan & Michael Shecter, Home Health Care Escort Services, Paintin Place and Patuxent Publishing's Baltimore Messenger.
