Family Series Networking Picnic ALERT
July 21, 2010: Due to the high chance of thundershowers this afternoon, today’s Family Networking Picnic is canceled and is now rescheduled for Wednesday, July 28 from 4-7. We hope you can join us then for food, fun and networking with other families!
With live music, a Kidz Zone, food and drink for purchase, and celebrating of The Arc’s 60th, you won’t want to miss the Backyard Fest on Friday, September 10th, from 5-8 p.m. Park at the nearby Central Presbyterian and come on over. Click here for details.
A Win-Win: Eat ice cream, benefit The Arc
The Cold Stone Creamery in Canton is hosting Battle of the Stones 2 with serving teams showing their talent as they serve it up for charity on Sunday, August 1st from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Catch their singing and theatrics throughout the day and select your favorite team with a tip for the organization they represent – The Arc of Baltimore or Healthcare for the Homeless. Eleven students from nine Baltimore City Schools recently graduated from Project SEARCH, an exciting and innovative program sponsored by The Arc of Baltimore that provides work and career development opportunities for adults and students with disabilities.
Offers parents of children with disabilities a unique opportunity to take their children with developmental disabilities (and their siblings) to a safe environment with trained volunteers who will look after them. The next scheduled opportunity is August 14th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
